The Beanstack mobile app is available on iOS and Android; it can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play store, respectively.
Note: If you use a tablet, such as a Kindle or iPad, we recommend using the web version of Beanstack instead since is our mobile app is optimized for phones.
After downloading the app, you give it permission to send push notifications to your device. Push notifications are messages that pop up on your mobile device’s lock or home screen outside of the app itself. Beanstack sends push notifications to encourage users to maintain their reading streaks and to remind them to log their reading after multiple days without logging.
To change the app’s notification permissions:
- On your device, navigate to “Settings” and then “Notifications” (on an iPhone) or “Apps & Notifications” (on an Android).
- Find and tap “Beanstack” from amongst the list of apps on your device.
- You can then toggle on or off the setting to “Allow Notifications.”
