After you download the Beanstack mobile app, you have the option to give the app permission to send push notifications to your device. Push notifications are messages that pop up on your mobile device's lock or home screen outside of the app itself. Beanstack sends push notifications to encourage users to maintain their reading streaks and to remind them to log their reading after multiple days without logging.
To change the app's notification permissions:
- On your device, navigate to Settings and then Notifications (on an iPhone) or Apps & Notifications (on an Android).
- Find and tap Beanstack from amongst the list of apps on your device.
- You can then toggle on or off the setting to Allow Notifications.
