The default setting for any site that uses book logging badges is for readers to be able to log one book at a time. If you’d like readers to be able to log multiple books at one time, you can activate "batch logging." This setting allows readers to log up to 100 books in one log entry.
To set up batch logging, log in with your admin account and navigate to Setup > Site Options > Site Settings. Once on the Site Settings page, scroll down to the Allow Batch Logging option and check the box to activate the setting.
Once the setting is active, you will see another option to determine the batch logging type. If you select "How many times was this book read?" readers will see optional fields for the title and author of the book, along with a prompt asking how many times that book was read. Readers' logging screen will look like this:
If you select "How many books were read?" readers will see a prompt asking how many books were read. They will see optional title and author fields until they enter more than 1 book, because titles cannot be entered for multiple different books logged at one time.
Note that a site cannot have batch logging activated and require book titles. Once you are done, click save and your site will update!
