Just like readers can collect paper tickets for a drawing at your library, readers can collect tickets to assign to specific ticket drawings for a program/challenge in Beanstack. Adding tickets to badges will give your readers the opportunity to assign tickets to a later ticket drawing of their choice within a program/challenge.
In practice, this means that a reader may earn a badge and see a virtual ticket (or multiple) attached to that badge. The reader may then choose the tickets they want to enter into the different drawing options you have set up. For example, they may choose to put two virtual tickets into one drawing for an iPad and four virtual tickets into one drawing for tickets to a sports game. The library administrator then may set up a "ticket reward" drawing that is based on the tickets readers choose to submit toward that drawing.
You can attach as many (or as few) tickets to any type of badge in your program/challenge setup as you like.
Creating multiple ticket drawings in a program/challenge will allow your readers to choose the drawings they would like to enter. The more tickets a reader collects and assigns to a ticket drawing, the better their odds are of winning.
Readers can look at the number of tickets they have and tickets drawings that are available to them by accessing the "Ticket Drawings" tab in a specific program/challenge. Upon earning a badge with tickets attached, they also are prompted to enter tickets into a drawing.
If you do not have tickets attached to your program, your readers will not see the Ticket Drawings option.
