When your students click "Log Reading and Activities" in the top left corner of their homepage, they will see "Activities" as an option if you have this log type activated on your site.
Upon clicking "Activities", your students will be shown a list of activity badges available for them to complete.
Once they select an activity badge, they will be shown the activities associated with completing the badge. There may be one activity associated with the badge, or multiple. It depends on how you have set up your challenge.
There are three activity types you can choose when you set up your challenge:
1) General Activity: This type will just give the students an activity to do, but doesn't require any additional information from them. They are able to simply check off that the activity has been completed.
2) Text Box Challenge: This type will show a text box along with a description of the activity. In order to check off that the activity has been completed, they must write something in the text box. Their answer is then available to you on their log and via reports.
3) Activity Code: This type will show a "secret code" box in conjunction with the description of the activity. Your students will have to come to you (or maybe somewhere in the library) to retrieve the code. The correct code must be entered here in order to check off that the activity has been completed.
