Selecting different filters in Insights is an easy way to see how your students are tracking toward different reading goals and during different time periods.
Once you're logged in, navigate to the Insights section of your dashboard to see all the filters available. You can leave these filters set to their defaults or change them as you see fit.
- Dates: Pick whether you'd like to view data for this week, this month, this year, specific challenges' dates, or custom dates
- Readers Overall vs. Readers in Challenges: If you want the widest available dataset, pick readers overall. For a look into specific challenge progress, pick readers in challenges.
- Challenges: If you selected readers in challenges, this field allows you to select the challenge(s) for which you want to view data
- Ages: Narrow down your challenge data by specifying which ages you'd like to view.
- Grade Levels: Choose which grade(s) you would like to see data for here.
- Teacher: Pick specific teachers to analyze.
- Compare To: This field automatically compares to the previous week, month, or year when you select this week, this month, or this year for your date range. If you select challenge dates and specific challenges, you can select other challenges to compare your data against.
To reset a filter's selections, you can click the refresh icon next to the field title at any time.
