Previously, if someone logged an event through "Add to the log," s/he could fill in a free text field to specify the event. We still have this field, and now have also added a dropdown field for "event type." You may add the types that you want to include (this is optional) by adding them under Setup > Manage Event Types. There, you simply add the event types you want to appear in the dropdown.
Common event types include, "storytime, STEM, Book Club, Speaker Series,etc."
